Tina works primarily in silver and gold Her pieces are fabricated using a torch and soldering or fusing pieces sawn from precious metal sheet and wires.
Different processes are used, such as hammering and roll printing to give texture to the metal surface.
Many of the earrings are made using an ancient Korean technique, Keumbu. This involves using heat and pressure to fuse thin sheets of 22k gold onto pure silver. Afterwards the piece is patinated to darken the silver.
Recently Tina has begun exploring sand casting, recycling her silver scrap into new work.
