Caldera Studio is a private glass studio my partner Raven Skyriver and I share at our home. We open our doors to the public a few times a year. A good time to catch us is during the Lopez Island Studio Tour, or during our Holiday Sale (the Saturday after Thanksgiving). Otherwise, we welcome visits by appointment.

The Ammonite became extinct 66 million years ago, leaving abundant impressions in its strata layer to fossilize. Holding these common time-telling index fossils in hand, we reflect upon great differences between us... and likenesses too. What will we leave behind when we are gone? My parents were both glass artists, and I grew up on a Pacific Island with persistent volcanic activity. I believe these are my main influences to work in glass, to be ocean-inspired, and to examine extinction, preservation, reflection, and Memento Mori.
