Sculpture: Cast stone

Steve does garden containers, cast stone troughs, benches, and cast sculpture using different cement and aggregate mixtures. His work is weather resistant and intended for outdoor use. Steve is currently casting life size models of local Rockfish sometimes called Rock Cod. This marine animal is perhaps the most common fish in the rocky areas and reefs in the waters around our Island. The mortar castings are mounted on a metal rod and make an attractive garden ornament that is 100% deer resistant. Steve likes doing his own thing and enjoys discovering new ways of working with natural materials to create cast stone.
