After moving from Seattle, I built a studio and bought a monster Takash press. Currently I`m working on female figures. Another area that I`m exploring involves juxtaposing unrelated subject matters which are campartmentalized images of boats, birds, flowers and figures. I love it when disparate images come together to make a cohesive composition, but leave some questions about relationships. I`m motivated by the way a sweep of a brush creates a sense of space and I like the challenge of making the technical medium of etching facilitate a spontaneous process.
