The Shirley Wright Scholarship for Graduating High School Seniors
This scholarship is given in the name of Shirley Wright, an accomplished, talented and respected Lopez artist who gave generously of her time in supporting and developing the skills of beginning artists, in addition to working tirelessly within her own highly acclaimed art career.
The Lopez Artist Guild maintains monies for this scholarship through its own fundraising efforts and is pleased to be able to award an annual scholarship of $1000 to any student who has met the requirements. Funds are awarded for tuition and educational expenses directly related to continuing education within an accredited art program, and will be paid directly to same by LAG.
Any Lopez resident who is completing the requirements for graduation may apply. Applicants should send a letter of intent by May 1st stating an interest in applying for this scholarship - see Contact Us for mailing address. Email address is given below.

Financial Aid Grant
This grant is for artists and craftspeople. The grant money is to be used for materials and/or equipment and/or training. Applicants must be residents of Lopez Island and members of Lopez Artist Guild.
The application must be submitted before January 1st of each year:
